Gospel Tabernacle Outreach Ministries, Inc. (GTOMI) is pleased to announce our new pastor, Pelham Jay Pierce.

Pastor Pierce was installed as pastor of GTOMI on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. GTOMI has served the inner city of Providence for over 27 years. The vision of GTOMI is to build up a strong local church, which will bring praise and glory to God. GTOMI does this by empowering the church body to live to their fullest potential and God ordained purpose; as well as serving the community through its many ministries. GTOMI believes in the next generation, offering multiple activities for youth of all ages. GTOMI partners with the RI Food Bank to serve the community by providing access to a monthly Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen. GTOMI is a place of worship and fellowship for residents throughout the state of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Pastor Pierce is excitedly welcomed as the new pastor of GTOMI.

Pastor Pierce has served God and the church body since 1999; being ordained as Deacon in 2001, Minister in 2015, and now it is with gratitude and excitement he has answered the call of God into the Pastoral office. Pastor Pierce has been married to Minister Jacqueline Pierce for 21 years, has three daughters and three grandchildren who he adores very much. Pastor Pierce has many gifts; including redesigning, security, and organization. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and the serenity of being by the ocean. Pastor Pierce has a love for people, no matter who they are or what they’ve done. It is the desire of Pastor Pierce to see men grow spiritually and become leaders, not only in the church but in their communities.

Finally, it is Pastor Pierce’s most urgent request, which remains on his heart daily, and exceeds all other thoughts and activities, that our God, who is able to keep us from stumbling, and present us faultless in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy, will within him, increase knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to lead His people.

To contact Pastor Pierce, you may do so by emailing ppierce@gtomi.org or via telephone at (401) 454-0988.
